Dental wellbeing
We offer all the dental treatments you would expect from a family dental practice including examinations, fillings and root treatments in addition to providing a host of cosmetic dental services for improving patients’ smiles like veneers, crowns, bridges, white fillings, whitening and advice on implants. We also provide and fit sports guards and anti-snoring devices. We are in no hurry to rush you out of the door and our dentists will take as much time as needed to ensure your dental health is fully assessed.
‘Keeping it local’ is a phrase much bandied about but it only really works if the services on your doorstep are any good. We are fortunate to have CBC, an award-winning, hi-tech dental laboratory based in the town whose services we have used for many years. Our close-working partnership means patients receive excellent quality crowns and bridges, expediently.

The health of your mouth is a great indicator of the condition of the rest of your body. Since three out of four teeth are lost through gum disease, and recent studies show a strong relationship between gum disease and medical conditions such as strokes and heart disease, it's clear why we put such emphasis on our health and hygiene services.
At each visit we will carry out a thorough examination of your gums, cheeks, jaw, tongue, and teeth to make sure everything is in good health. We want you to keep your natural teeth for life and will give you the skills to help this happen.

Patients who have whitening treatment say they feel more confident to smile so if you have ever felt self-conscious about the colour of your teeth, or if you simply fancy a brighter smile, consider whitening. It can be a very effective and relatively speedy way of brightening discoloured teeth. After comparing the colour of your teeth to our shade guide, our dentists will provide you with a home kit complete with whitening product and specially made trays that are unique to your mouth.
There are lots of different whitening products on the market, many of which should be approached with caution. Please feel free to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of the various options available to you before undertaking any form of whitening treatment.
Perfecting your smile
Unsightly silver fillings, cracks, gaps and crooked teeth that undermine your confidence can be corrected with the marvels of modern cosmetic dentistry. Our dentists take advantage of the latest techniques and materials - white fillings, porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges - to provide patients with the natural-looking, complete smile they have always desired. Dentures & implants
We provide full and partial dentures in metal or acrylic, and a repair service. If you would prefer not to wear dentures or you find them uncomfortable, if you don't want to be restricted by what you can eat, or if you would simply prefer a permanent solution to a gap, we would be delighted to advise and refer you to an implanologist to whom we have the utmost confidence.
