Well done to Teresa for receiving the annual Montgolfier Award for outstanding services to ballooning. Michel Montgolfier was one of the inventors of the world’s first successful hot-air balloons, which flew over Paris in November 1783.
Teresa has been involved as a volunteer at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta for 21 years. She is part of the flying committee, who meet on a monthly basis to plan the spectacular event which takes place annually in August at the Ashton Court, Bristol. Every fiesta Teresa is busy managing the balloon teams and ensuring they land safely!
